Re: This is all Andy Swallow's fault.
The stadium needed demolishing and a football stadium built on its site... Spurs cut out legs from under us by positing the same but with extras we couldn't compete with thus resulting in us having to accept the running track as a way of negating their bid... I suspect also that people have issues with the nature of the owners businesses rubbing off (ooer!) on their identity and self-esteem in the eyes of the world irrespective of how they may present themselves...
or summink like that-ish...
some have just been waiting to make the stadium the issue they always wanted it to be...

let's only have a march if one of us unilaterally cancels it, leading to pitch invasions and more press, eh!? :-)

Going to be interesting though, im going to be at the Southampton game, be my first at the new stadium as I will be in the UK for 2 weeks at that time, will have the customary 2 day R&R in Bangkok on the way over....

Thinking of growing a beard so I can represent the nightshift at the game and if we lose I will shave it of in front of the director’s box, in true nightshift style, that will show them!

You better speak to Ron though, hes the nightshift one man committee and handles all such matters.

I'm considering applying to renew my membership

I'm not sure I ever achieved honorary membership status like you two

Perhaps you can put a word in with the committee

We need a dress code otherwise 67 wont march.

Perhaps we can coax Monkoknee and Hugh Monteith out of retirement? And Irony, what ever happened to her???

Very true they brought this on themselves and underestimated the reaction

Re: This is all Andy Swallow's fault.
There's a certain almost laughable irony in all this
With the board 'convincing' AS to unilaterally call off the
March they have achieved to incite more violent protest upon themselves and probably more media attention , a lot of it not necessarily in their favour !!

I wonder in hindsight if a peaceful United March may have been in their better interests !!

You're correct..being part of a firm doesn't make you a hard man by default..
That's the ignorance talking..many types make up a good firm..not just good fighters.

Yes mate, agreed. I was just looking for a more rational explanation of what happened, not condoning their behaviour towards other fans in any way.

Be fair he said that the board answered all his points and so we should all be happy with them now!

None of the so called answers where any different to what Brady said about 12 months ago.
